Dolphin Run is located on the Boardwalk and Bicycle Path at South end of beach, two blocks from Grommett Island – a wheelchair accessible playground on the beach. Beach and sightseeing trolley outside front door. Walk to harbor for cruises, deep sea fishing, Jet Ski rentals and parasailing. Boardwalk events include bike rentals, miniature golf, amusement parks, great restaurants and numerous music festivals. Short drive or bicycle to Virginia Aquarium; public golf and tennis facilities; a waterpark and go-cart facility. Also within a short drive are a number of historic structures and homes including the lighthouse George Washington approved in 1790. Colonial Williamsburg, Fort Monroe, Jamestown, Yorktown as well as Busch Gardens are within an hour’s drive. Southern Plantations along James River are within 1 ½ hr drive
